Between 2016 and 2021 Pilot Butte was the fastest-growing population centre in Saskatchewan, up 23 percent, and Balgonie has been growing since the 1970s. The new subdivisions, Discovery Ridge, The Plains of Pilot Butte, Hillside Park and Sandstone Terrace, are full of attached, heated garages with large doors and the builder-grade openers that come with a new house.
